beginner or an experienced textile lover, this workshop invites you to explore sustainable
practices rooted in tradition and ecology.
Whether you choose to join offline in Santiniketan or participate online from the comfort of
your home, the workshop will guide you through the historical significance, exploration of
materials and techniques involved in the dyeing process.
Programme Schedule:
 Day 1 – Introduction to natural dye (History, cultural significance, role in
sustainability) & Pre-treatment of fabric samples (scouring & bleaching).
 Day 2 – Different techniques of dyeing process & mordanting process.
 Day 3 – Preparation of colour , Dyeing, mordanting, washing.
 Day 4 – Final finishing of products.
 Day 5 – Photoshoot of the developed products & distribution of certificates.
