Frame & Flair Exhibition
Organized by Artsy Foundation
Effective from: July 26, 2025
By participating in the Frame & Flair Exhibition, all artists, photographers, volunteers, investors, sponsors, and associated members agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions:
 
1. Registration and Participation
For Painters:
  • Registration fee: ₹400/- (non-refundable).
  • Artists must frame their artworks on their own.
  • Maximum allowed frame size: 23 x 16 inches.
  • Artsy Foundation will sponsor all other expenses post-registration (excluding framing).
For Photographers:
No fee for submission/shortlisting.
  • If shortlisted, photographers must:
    a) Pay ₹1500/- if they frame the work themselves (Frame size: 16 x 12 inches), OR
    b) Pay ₹2500/- for framing by Artsy Foundation (same size).
 
2. Artwork Guidelines
  • Each participant is allowed to submit one original artwork or photograph.
  • All artworks must be original and free from copyright violations.
  • Artsy Foundation reserves the right to reject entries that are incomplete, plagiarized, or offensive.
 
3. Submission Process
  • Participants must fill out the complete registration form on our website.
  • Submissions will only be considered valid after successful payment via UPI QR code.
  • All payments must be completed between August 25 – August 27, 2025.

 

4. Framing & Display
  • Painters must frame their own artwork before submission.
  • Photographers can opt for either self-framing or foundation-framing as per the fee structure.
  • The foundation will handle display setup, labeling, and exhibition logistics.
 
5. Copyright & Usage Rights
  • Artists retain full copyright over their submitted work.
  • By participating, artists grant Artsy Foundation the non-exclusive right to use submitted works for:
  • Exhibition publicity (online & offline)
  • Catalogues, banners, and event branding
  • Website and social media promotions (with credit)
 
6. Jury & Judgement
  • A professional panel of judges will evaluate all submissions.
  • Judging will be final and non-negotiable.
  • Participation does not guarantee shortlisting or awards.
 
7. Sponsorship & Investor Roles
  • Investors and sponsors such as Chhayaghar Café, FOYERS, and Studio Altu Faltu play active roles in funding and operations.
  • The Vice Chairman’s account will handle official transactions with full transparency and regular reporting.
8. Volunteers & Assistants
  • Volunteers may assist in the following: content management, event setup, graphic design, social media, photography, etc.
  • Artsy Foundation encourages fair and respectful behavior toward all team members.
  • Volunteers must follow the assigned timings and codes of conduct.
 
9. Refund & Cancellation
  • Registration fees once paid are non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation by organizers.
  • If an artist is unable to participate after payment, they may request credit for future exhibitions (subject to approval).
 
10. Liability Disclaimer
  • Artsy Foundation is not responsible for damage or loss of artworks during transit, display, or return (though all precautions will be taken).
  • Participants are advised to insure high-value artworks independently.
 
11. Event Date & Location
  • Krittika Art Gallery, Gurupally, Santiniketan, Birbhum, West Bengal
  • Exhibition Dates: 12–14 September 2025
  • Timing: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
12. Agreement
  • By completing registration and/or making payment, the participant agrees to all the above terms and conditions in full.
